How much wallpaper do you need?

Each pack contains 2 strips measuring 53 cm wide and 270 cm long. Together, they cover a wall width of 106 cm, provided your wall height and the required pattern offset fit within the strip length.

Step 1: Measure the total width and height of your wall.

Step 2: Add about 10 cm extra to the wall height to allow for minor variations or uneven ceilings.

Step 3: Divide the total wall width by 53 cm and round up to calculate the number of strips needed. Since each pack contains two strips, divide the total number of strips by two and round up again.

Mind the pattern repeat: The quilt pattern has a repeat of 51 cm. Allow for extra trimming waste when matching the pattern between strips. Please check in advance whether the 270 cm strip length is sufficient for your wall height.

Important: We recommend ordering all required wallpaper strips at the same time to avoid slight color variations between different production batches.

Installation

The Checkered Quilt Burgundy Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is made of non-woven material and can be applied directly to a pasted wall.

Preparation: Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth, and even before you start.

Wallpaper paste: Use paste specifically designed for non-woven wallpaper.

Application: Apply the paste evenly directly onto the wall and position the wallpaper strips carefully side by side. Keep the 51 cm pattern repeat in mind so the checkered pattern flows seamlessly across the seams.

Finishing: Carefully trim any excess wallpaper using a sharp utility knife for a clean, straight edge.
