Flowers Red – Floral wallpaper made of sustainable non-woven wallpaper for the nursery and kid's room – Atelier Chien

A cheerful floral print with a warm, playful look! The Bloemen Rood Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is a wonderful addition to the nursery or kids' room. The sweet little flowers in a warm red shade bring character, color, and a touch of nostalgia to the wall. Perfect for anyone who loves distinctive interiors that blend playful patterns with timeless design.

The flowers, measuring approx. 6 cm high, create a delicate, repeating pattern that instantly brings atmosphere to the space. The warm red color adds a cheerful accent and pairs beautifully with natural wood tones, soft cream shades, and warm earth tones. Whether you choose a full floral wall or just one eye-catching accent wall, this wallpaper gives the room a unique and personal touch.

The floral pattern has a charming, almost vintage feel, making it fit seamlessly into both modern and nostalgic nursery decor. For instance, pair it with a wooden crib, a soft linen baby blanket, and subtle color accents for a calm look. Or dare to play with light blue, olive green, and pink for a surprising, colorful combination.

The wallpaper is crafted from matte non-woven wallpaper with a serene, refined finish. This allows the colors and the floral pattern to truly shine. What's more, the material is FSC-certified, VOC-free, and flame retardant. A conscious choice for the nursery or kids' room, bringing together exceptional design and mindful materials.

Each package contains two wallpaper strips measuring 53 cm wide and 270 cm high. Together, they cover a wall width of 106 cm, provided the wall height falls within the available strip length. The non-woven wallpaper is easy to apply because you paste the wall directly.

The design was lovingly created by Annechien, the designer behind Atelier Chien. Guided by her love for color, prints, and playful interiors, she creates unique designs that give every space character. The wallpaper is custom-made to order in the Netherlands, with great care for quality and finish.

A lovely choice for a warm nursery or a cheerful kids' room where natural materials, special prints, and subtle color accents come together. At HUSKS Home, we love pairing this floral wallpaper with beautiful wooden furniture and soft textiles for a cozy whole.

How much wallpaper do you need?

Each package contains 2 strips measuring 53 cm wide and 270 cm high. Together, they cover a wall width of 106 cm, as long as the wall height—including 10 cm of extra trimming allowance—does not exceed 270 cm.

Step 1: Measure the total width and height of your wall.

Step 2: Add about 10 cm extra to the measured wall height to account for small height variations or uneven ceilings.

Step 3: Divide the total wall width by 53 cm and round up to determine the number of strips. Because each package contains two strips, divide this number by two and round up again to calculate the required number of packages.

Important: We recommend ordering all required wallpaper strips at once to avoid slight color variations between different production batches.

Do you have a different wall height, or would you prefer to see the color and print in person first? You can also order a wallpaper sample from Atelier Chien. For custom dimensions, feel free to get in touch to discuss custom options.

Installation

The Bloemen Rood Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is made of non-woven material and can be applied directly to a pasted wall.

Preparation: Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth, and even before you start.

Wallpaper paste: Use adhesive specially intended for non-woven wallpaper.

Application: Apply the wallpaper paste evenly and directly to the wall, then hang the strips carefully edge-to-edge. Make sure the floral print aligns properly for a seamless look.

Finishing: Carefully trim any excess wallpaper using a sharp utility knife.

Styling tip: Pair the red floral wallpaper with warm natural tones, wooden furniture, and soft linen accessories for a calm, cozy nursery. Prefer a more playful feel? Add light blue, olive green, or soft pink accents for an unexpected combination.
