Garbo&Friends – Sustainable design for children

Garbo&Friends is a Scandinavian brand, founded in 2012 by illustrator Susann Grabe. The brand originated from the desire to create a poetic universe for children, inspired by nature and the tranquility of the Swedish countryside.

Garbo&Friends designs and produces high-quality interior products and clothing for children that are loved by both parents and children for their beautiful prints and use of quality materials.

Sustainability and environment
Garbo&Friends strives to minimize its ecological footprint by integrating sustainable production methods into every step of their process. They use materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and recycled wool, and opt for environmentally friendly treatments and finishes.

The brand is actively pursuing GOTS certification for all its products, which means they adhere to strict ecological and social standards.

Collaboration with reliable suppliers
Garbo&Friends works with selected suppliers in Portugal, India, Pakistan, Italy, and China. Most of their textile products are GOTS-certified, and almost all suppliers are also OEKO-TEX® 100 certified, which guarantees that the products are safe for children and do not contain harmful substances. They work closely with their suppliers to ensure product quality and implement continuous improvements in production processes.

Product safety and quality
Garbo&Friends collaborates with reputable partners such as Intertek and SGS to test their products for durability, safety, and chemical content, in accordance with applicable legislation. All suppliers must meet the quality standards established in Garbo&Friends' quality manual, which includes guidelines for everything from seams, buttons, materials, and chemicals. The brand is committed to products that are both high-quality and safe for children.
