You don't need to pre-wash wool. Wool is naturally self-cleaning, so it doesn't need to be washed often even during use. Airing it regularly is usually enough to freshen up the garment.

Still need to wash it? Here's how to do it safely:

Washing machine: use the wool wash program, cold or max. 30°C, with wool detergent and a low spin speed (± 400 rpm).

Hand wash: wash briefly in lukewarm water without large temperature fluctuations. Do not rub or soak.

Drying: never wring; gently press water out with a towel and lay flat to dry.

Stains & care:
Small stains can be cleaned locally. Let mud dry first, then gently brush it out.
Pilling is normal with wool; carefully remove lint with a clothes brush or lint roller.

Important: never use fabric softener – this damages the wool fiber.
